We are proud to announce the winners of the 2025 GELPS Doctoral Dissertation Awards, recognizing outstanding doctoral research in language assessment. This year’s winners include Dr. Maria Santos for her work on AI-based speaking assessment, Dr. James Chen for research on fairness in computer-adaptive testing, and Dr. Aisha Patel for her study on the impact of test anxiety on performance. Each winner receives a $10,000 award and an opportunity to collaborate with the GELPS research team.
